Summertime calligraphy workshop

We are so excited to be hosting a Summertime Hand Lettering workshop with The Modern Calligraphy Co where you can learn how to create your own ‘faux’ calligraphy like this! This relaxing and informative live lettering class will last an hour and we will show you how to create hand lettering that you can use as a mindful practice, and also to create your own cards, gift tags and artwork.

The lettering we do in the workshop will celebrate the arrival of summer and the feeling of freedom, fresh air and sunshine that we have all been craving for so long.

Modern hand lettering is dynamic and has energy, so our workshop will focus on this rather than getting every letter identical, so you can relax and create your own style.

You will be guided step by step through how to use pens you already have at home to form dynamic modern lettering. You will finish by creating this hand-lettered artwork.
