Diamond rainbow throw crochet pattern
Hannah Cross' blanket has features textured stitches and a fabulous rainbow colour effect!

HanJanCrochet designed this stunning diamond blanket from issue 40. It’s unashamedly bright, has fun textured stitches that form a clever diamond pattern, and it’s finished off with a playful fringe (so there’s fewer ends to weave in too!). If you only crochet one blanket this year, make it this one.

Throughout the pattern you work each dc in the backloop. And don’t turn after every row – instead work every row from the right side, and break the yarn at end of each row. Each new colour is joined with a slip stitch, and the tails at the end of each row make the tassels.
Simply Crochet issue 40 is available as a digital edition, for Apple phones and tablets, Android phones and tablets, the Barnes & Noble Nook, and to read through Zinio as PDFs. Click here to find the right version for you.
You can also buy the individual pattern from Ravelry here!
