The shade listed is incorrect. The correct yarn is shade 'Paddle (100)' in Sublime Baby Cashmere Merino Silk 4ply.
The second row of the yoke had the knits and purls mixed up and should read:
Next row (RS) P14 (16:20:24:28:20:22:24), pm, P35 (37:37:37:37:50:50:52), pm, K32 (32:32:32:32:30:32:32), pm, P35 (37:37:37:37:50:50:52), pm, P to end.
The note "Sizes 18-22 only" underneath the written instructions for Charts B and C does not apply as these charts are used on the sleeves for other sizes.
Lundy
The symbols for Chart A were missing from the key. A corrected Chart and key can be downloaded here. Chart A left should be used in place of Chart A on the left side of the garment (left as if you were wearing it, near the beg of the row) and Chart A should be used on the right side (end of the row)
When working Row 1, beginning Charts B and C, begin on st 5 (2:6:4:1:5:2:7) and repeat all sts in Chart B (ignore the part about the red box)
Rock Pool
The cuff for the right sock should be worked as folls:
Round 1 *P1, K1tbl; rep from * to end.
Repeat round 1 until piece measures 2.5cm from cast on edge.

Hove Actually
The yarns were listed the wrong way around for this garment. The highest number of balls, for the main body, should be Original Denim shade Memphis, not the Handknit Cotton.
Hvalba
The yarn quantities should read 2 skeins, not 1.
On the Wing Chart, Row 15, sts 15 and 33, those k3tog should be moved up to Row 17. Also Row 17 st 51 should also be a k3tog.
Row 43 of the Gusset Chart and written instuctions should read K14, K2tog, yo, K15.
Mirielle
After working the Neck Right Hand Side, where it says to cont in pattern until work meas 33 (37:41)cm, end on a RS row, not a WS row as printed.
Then when you come to work the Back Right Hand Side, those first 2 rows, every RS row and every WS row, the RS and WS need to be switched around.
The same goes for the other side, so end on a WS row after working the neck shaping on the left hand side of the back when it says to work to 33 (37:41)cm, then switch around the every RS row and every WS row at the beginning of the Back Left Hand Side section.
Chiswick Bag
The explanations for Tw2F and Tw2B are wrong and should read as follows:
Tw2F Slip 1 st onto cable needle and hold at front of work, P1, K1 from cable needle.
Tw2B Slip 1 st onto cable needle and hold at back of work, K1, P1 from cable needle.

In the shape bust section on the back, the first paragraph after the note instructs to inc 1 st each side of the back dart mrks on the following row, before increasing on the 14th (14th:12th etc) row once.
This 'following row' should be omitted, so instead work:
Increase 1 st each side of back dart mrks (see Pattern Notes) on the foll 14th (14th:12th:12th:10th:10th: 10th:10th:10th:10th) row once, then every foll 16th row twice more.

Beauvais
The charts for this pattern incorrectly showed the coloured stitches in a 1x2 pattern instead of a 2x2 pattern.
It was also brought to our attention by a reader that the colours in the chart were a little too similar to distinguish.
New charts can be downloaded here in the correct sequence using slightly more contrasting colours.
Glen
When working the Right Front, begin on stitch 34 of chart, not stitch 36 as printed.
When working the Sleeve chart, begin on st 11 (10:8:8:7).

In both charts, all instances of SSK should be K2tog were the wrong way around, and there were some rogue symbols in Chart B. You can download the corrected charts here.

Jadeite
Apologies, we mixed up the symbols in the Charts for this pattern. New charts can be downloaded from the link here.
Please note all instances of Tw2B/F should read T2B/F and they should be worked as thus:
T2B Knit into front of second stitch on needle, then into front of first stitch.
T2F Knit into back of second stitch on needle, then into front of first stitch.
When working Chart C, work row 1 of Chart C to last 5 (5:5:5:5:1:1:1:1) sts, ending on a st 8 of Chart.
At the end, under making up, the neckband RS row has intermittent cables and should read:

Candyfloss
The sk2po symbol in Chart A row 9 should actually be in row 7 (in the same space in the centre)
Betsy (supplement)
There is an error in Row 7 of the sleeve pattern (a K2 that shouldn’t be there). The row should read as foll:
Row 7 P1, (K1, P1) 4 (6:8:10) times, P2, C4F, P2, C4B, K12, C4F, P2, C4B, P2, (P1, K1) 4 (6:8:10) times, P1.

Town Square Shawl
Please be aware of the symbols in row 5 of the chart which look like K2tog, yo and K3tog. In hindisight this chart is a little confusing as the symbols in this row also mean something else – see the bottom of the key – and it might have been clearer if we had used different symbols in this case. There is a border around the 3 symbols together in the chart but you could be forgiven for missing that.
So the 3 symbols before and after the repeat, which look like K2tog, yo, K2tog, are actually ‘K2 into 3” which is worked as thus: K2tog without removing sts from left needle, yo, then work same 2 sts K2tog again, and remove sts from needle. 3 sts made from 2 sts.
The 3 symbols in the repeat, which look like K3tog, yo, K3tog, are actually “K3 into 3” which is worked as thus: K3tog without removing sts from left needle, yo, then work same 3 sts K3tog again, and remove sts from needle. 3 sts made from 3 sts.
Sloane Square Cushion
When working C30F in rib, it may look as though the remaining sts after the sts on the cable are to be worked 'as seen' – ie (P2, K2) 4 times, however the rib on this section is actually 'reset' and hidden behind the cable, so it should be worked as printed in the magazine.

The wrong key was dropped in to this pattern – a corrected key is here:

Marrakesh Bolster
The written instructions for 'Row 4 and all alt rows' (or row 2 on Chart F) doesn't work for every chart. If you are following the written instructions essentially what you need to do is work back along the row in the same colour just used for the last row, purling the sts that were knitted and slipping the sts that were slipped.
The Knitter issue 102

Cabled Jacket
Our chart showed cables on row 9 instead of row 10 and only 11 repeat rows. You can download a corrected chart here.
The yarn quantities should say x100g skeins, not x50g balls of Cascade Yarns Longwood.

After working Rows 1-6 of the written pattern, continue to work through the written pattern as set, AT THE SAME TIME repeating the 10 rows of the Chart – so the next row 1 will work row 7 of Chart, etc.
Adriatic
A row was missed out between the two lace patterns, causing the second one to come out on the WS.
After changing needle sizes, 5 rows should be worked before continuing, not 4.
When working the Back, work as follows:

The metric sleeve measurements given in the table and schematic were wrong. The measurements given will be the actual length before the garment is sewn together.

Two symbols were missed off Chart A for our cover garment – there should be a sk2po in the centre of rows 11 and 13. In Chart D, the symbols in the columns for stitches 18,19 and 20 should be shifted over 1 stitch to to left.
A corrected chart containing A and D can be downloaded here.

Sissinghurst
The name Sissinghurst incorrectly appeared above the chart for Rosemoor, for which the corrections are below.
Sleeves
The way the panel pattern is written for the beginning of the sleeves might be confusing to some, if you are having trouble with it then work as below:
Row 1 (RS) K1, *yo, (K1, P1) 7 times, K1, yo, K1; rep from * to end.
Row 2 K1, *P2, (K1, P1) 7 times, P1, K1; rep from * to end.
Row 3 K2, yo (K1, P1) 7 times, K1, yo, K2.
Row 4 K2, P2, (K1, P1) 7 times, P1, K2.
Row 5 K3, yo, (K1, P1) 7 times, K1, yo, K3.
Row 6 K3, P2, (K1, P1) 7 times, P1, K3.
Row 7 K4, yo, (K1, P1) 7 times, K1, yo, K4.

Row 9 K5, (Sl 1, K1, psso) 3 times, Sl 1, K2tog, psso, (K2tog) 3 times, K5.
Row 10 Purl.
Rosemoor
A couple of corrections to the chart – Row 2 is missing a stitch, which might go un-noticed if you're following the chart, as the instruction is still to yo, p2tog, work to last 2 sts, p2tog, yo.
Row 3 should end with K2, not K1.
Row 7 is missing a yo which should be on st 9.
Islay
Suggested 'to fit' bust sizes should be 87 (91: 96: 100: 105: 109: 114)cm / 34.25 (35.75: 37.75: 39.25: 41.25: 43: 45)in – by suggesting standard UK sizing it meant there was less ease as the garment got larger.
The instruction to cast on steek stitches at the neck is missing. It should read like this:
Neck
Keeping pattern correct, K2, SSK, knit 25 (27:29:31:33:35:37) sts, K2tog, K2, slip 26 (28:30:32:34:36:38) sts on to holder, cast on 11 sts for steek using the backwards thumb cast-on method, K2, SSK, work to last 2 sts before steek, K2, K2tog, work across Back sts without shaping.
Hestercombe
On the T2B in the key the ktbl symbol should be in the right-most column and the purl symbol should be in the left, and the other way around for the T2F.
The instructions for the stitches are still correct in the Special Stitches section, so ignore the symbols behind the lines and refer to the lean of the twist and the definition in the Special Stitches section, as those are the only 2-stitch twists.

Apologies, we published the wrong chart and chart placement instructions in this pattern. The paragraph underneath 'Commence Chart' should read as follows: Change to 4mm needles. Commence Body Chart, working the 13-st repeat five times across the row and working the 12-row rep as set throughout, cont until work meas 32 (33:33:34:34:35:35:36) cm from cast-on edge, ending with a WS row.
The corrected chart can be downloaded here. The red lines on this corrected copy indicate where to begin and end the sleeves, and the green lines indicate where to begin and end for front/back for each size.

The two 'M1's in Row 1 of Chart A throw the stitch count off. Skip these on this row.
Currach Cushion
There should be a repeat box around sts 1-51 of the chart, then stitch 52 will be the last st worked after you have worked 3 repeats. The short row shaping section of this pattern shouldn't say w&t, just turn. Don't wrap any of the sts. Also ignore the part that says to pick up the wraps when knitting across all sts, just knit across them. In the chart key, the SSK and the K2tog symbols are the other way around.

Thanks to our eagle-eyed reader muninnhuginn on Ravelry, who spotted an error in the Reynard hat pattern in issue 64: "In order to have properly symmetrical muzzles on the second and fourth row of fox motifs, the leftmost squares in rows 10, 11, 28 and 29 of the chart need to be in yarn C (white) and not Yarn A as shown. The photo of the hat has these stitches in white."

On the body, there are only 2 buttonholes to be made, not 4 as the pattern indicates. So the instruction should read:

There is also an error with the chart. Row 12 shouldn't be there, and the other row numbers above should be renamed accordingly. Please click the link above to download a corrected chart.

Cornice Shawl
In the first column, where you read 'Cont as set by Row 7 to 27 sts', the next row should begin ‘Row 10’, not ‘Row 12’. This has no material effect on the pattern, so we advise that you treat the 10th row as if it were the 12th row and continue from there as set.
The Row numbers also get confused later in the pattern and we suggest you work the pattern and ignore the row numbers, as this seems to be a typographical error.
Lattice Stitch Section: The pattern reads that you cont to inc 6 sts on every RS row, when in fact you inc 4. The stitch counts given are correct.
The section after the lattice stitch section should be worked as folls: 2 rows garter stitch, 2 rows stocking stitch, 2 rows garter stitch, 2 rows stocking stitch, 4 rows garter stitch, 6 rows stocking stitch, 3 rows garter stitch, eyelet row, 3 rows garter stitch, 6 rows stocking stitch, 20 rows garter stitch.
Also, the stitch tension and row tension numbers should be switched.

Pretty as a Picture
In the short row shaping section, the purl row after the row where you place a marker has been missed off the instructions. "Continue in this manner" means to repeat the last 2 rows – sorry this is unclear.
Also, after the w&t part, the instructions should read 15/16 sts from the edge of the work, rather than 15/16 sts from centre marker.

In chart B, the small triangles which appear on rows 31 to 48 have outer colourwork in Yarn A according to the chart. This should be Yarn B. In the same section, there are diamonds with an outer of Yarn F, a middle of Yarn B and a centre of Yarn A. The middle section should be knitted in Yarn C.
Loveday Cardigan
The notions given should be for 3mm and 3½mm needles, not 3mm and 3¼mm. The tension given for the Fair Isle colourwork is correct.
Lozenge Socks
The written instructions for Chart A are incorrect. Round 7 should read as folls:
Round 7 *K3B, K1A, K2B; rep from * to end of round.

Vintage Sampler Blanket
Rows 60-68 should say "Rep rows 56-59 twice, then row 56 once".
Casati
Row 3 of the lace pattern should say "psso" after the "Sl 1, K2tog", so it reads:
Row 3 K3 (1:3:6:6:3:5:2), *K1, yfwd, K3, Sl 1, K2tog, psso, K3, yfwd, K2; rep from…
After finishing Row 10 of the lace pattern at the beginning of the sleeves, Rows 1-10 are repeated once more.

Fontaine

Adele

Sleeves: The stitches should be cast off at the end of the sleeves and not placed on a holder. On the chart, the moss stitch in the background inside the cable motif has been charted the wrong way round, so where there is a knit stitch it should be a purl and vice versa. The moss stitch around the outside of the cable is correct.
The corrected chart can be downloaded here.
Size L only: Shape left front, line 3 of second paragraph. Should say 4th and not - for the number of rows between decreases.

Amend chart as follows:
Remove one knit stitch from the left edge of chart on each of rows 1 to 9. Left edge for this section is now mirror image of right edge with heart instead of star symbol. Remove all of row 1 from Chart.
Change written instructions as follows:
Row 1 (RS) As written except that you are following row 3 on chart (not row 1). Right edge is worked SSK, K3 (first half of row), left edge is worked K4 (first half of row), then after the centre decrease, the right edge is worked K4 (second half of row) and the left edge is worked K3, K2tog (second half of row). 545 sts.
Row 2 and all even rows Knit (not shown on chart).
Row 3 Work from chart row 5 as established. 541 sts.
After completing row 184 on the chart, the stitch count should be 185 sts (not 181 sts).
The following 2 rows need to be added after this:
Next row (RS) SSK, K89, Sl 1, K2tog, psso, K89, K2tog. 181 sts.
Next row (WS) Knit.
The following extra clarification of the Muriel Shawl chart may be useful. Stitch counts at the end of chart rows as follows:

Chart row 11 Pattern repeat section is now worked 9 times on each half of rows. 529 sts.
Chart row 57 437 sts.
Chart row 59 Pattern repeat section is now worked 7 times on each half of rows. 433 sts.

The st count throughout the sleeves is wrong.
Therefore, you need to work the following from SLEEVES (9th line of text onwards):
Cont in patt as set and shape sides by increasing 1st each end of every foll 4th row to 81 sts, then inc 1 st at each end of every foll 6th row to 91 (91:95:95:99:99:103:103) sts.

Umoo
The Texere Thai Silk used in this pattern has a slubby construction, and as a result knits up to a somewhat variable tension. The tension stated in the pattern was 27 sts and 29 rows to 10cm over stocking stitch, and some readers have had difficulty matching the row tension as well as stitch tension.
To obtain a correctly sized garment, it is most important to match stitch tension. Most lengths in the pattern can be easily adjusted if there are differences in row tension. If your swatch measures the correct tension, please be sure to also check your knitting regularly, to ensure that you are getting an average of 27 sts to 10cm.
Body Row 2 should read: P2tog, yrn, P1, *K10, P1; rep from * to end.

Going for Gossamer
We would like to apologise for any confusion as a result of a mistake in Issue 14, regarding the delightful lace-weight Heirloom Gossamer yarn from Artist’s Palette Yarns. We showed yarns dyed by Juliet at Artist's Palette Yarns, but the base yarn was actually designed by and custom-spun for Fleegle, not Juliet as we incorrectly stated. Fleegle’s beautiful yarn is also available, directly from her at The Gossamer Web.
