The journey begins on Rhodes, the Island of the Sun God. Visit the mediaeval city of Rhodes Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Meander through its narrow streets and see the harbour where the Colossus of Rhodes – a 30-metre-high bronze statue of Helios – once greeted sailors.
Journey by catamaran to the Turkish Aegean and its beautiful forests and bays. Visit the world-famous limestone terraces at Pamukkale and its thermal spas. This natural phenomenon neighbours the ancient Roman city of Hieropolis, a second UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Other highlights on this tour include exploring the ancient city of Aphrodisias and its mighty tetrapylon, agora and theatre, followed by a visit to a traditional carpet knitting factory. While in Turkey, guests can also enjoy the spectacle of Ephesus, the Library of Celsus and the ruins of the Temple of Artemis.
