We all know the struggle. You’re browsing social media or shopping around and you come across the furniture of your dreams. Maybe you’ve favourited a host of sofas and lamps on Pinterest, Instagram or across a million tabs on your browser. You then Google these items and you’re met with something totally different, slightly off or you may actually find the item, but then don’t know what else might pair with the aesthetic.
Shop Home Styles is an AI-driven platform that aims to cut the hassle. It pulls together products from more than 100 UK and US homeware and furniture brands into one place. The best bit? You can upload an image of what you’re searching for and it’ll show you similar pieces to shop.
How does it work?
Simply go to Shop Home Styles’ website and use the search bar to type in whatever style or piece you’re after.
The real highlight is the image search feature, which you can try here. Simply upload an image of a piece or a room and it will generate shoppable items in that style. It draws from many trusted furniture and homeware brands, ranging from the premium to the more affordable including Anthropologie, Heal's, Graham and Green, Dunelm, Wilko and Marks and Spencer.
To put it to the test, I uploaded an image of Dunelm's 'Vogue Lighting Zen Table Lamp' as I've been searching for something calming to warm my office space:

Not only did it find the same item, it also suggested other lovely lamps like this Graham and Green 'Lennox Table Lamp with Shade', which I may never have encountered otherwise.

From there, it suggested other furniture with a similar feel, including this shelving I didn't know I needed, as well as this pendant light that could very well make it into my basket.
For a more traditional shopping approach, Shop Home Styles has plenty of categories to browse as well as curated inspiration, such as this 2026 key trends feature that breaks down sculptural, stone and other looks with related products conveniently placed so you can shop them straight away.
If you have a Pinterest board filled with dream furniture and don't want to spend countless hours browsing the web for something similar, it might be worth giving Shop Home Styles a browse. The image search feature is quick and easy, and even if you don't necessarily find what you're after, chances are you'll find some inspiration anyway.
