If you're looking for some instant inspiration to use a Cricut EasyPress Mini, then why not check out this fab project to decorate a coaster to brighten up your home decor!

This project uses Cricut™ Infusible Ink™ Pens to make a set of ceramic coasters. Use only Infusible Ink compatible blanks and pens.

You will need:

  • Infusible Ink™ Ceramic Coaster Blanks
  • Infusible Ink™ Pen, Black
  • Laser Copy Paper
  • Infusible Ink Heat Resistant Tape
  • Cricut Easy Press and mat
  • White card
  • Lint-free cloth

Optional:

  • Cricut Explore Air 2 or Cricut Maker machine, mat

How to decorate a coaster:

Step 1

Wipe your coaster clean to avoid any dust or lint from ruining your design.

Step 2

Draw your design with the Cricut Infusible Ink pens on white standard copy paper. Make sure your design is the same size as your coaster and remember your design will be mirrored when applied to the coaster. Alternatively, use your Cricut machine to draw your design onto the copy paper with an image from Design Space™.

Step 3

Refer to the Cricut Easy Press Heat Guide for instructions on what temperature to set your Easy Press to and how long to apply it to the coaster, as well as help on the stack order for your coaster and design. Apply the heat and your design will be seamlessly infused into the surface of the coaster.
