Step 1
Trim patterned paper to 14x6cm, add a 14x8cm piece of floral paper to the bottom. Attach to a square white base. Cover the join with a strip of spotty paper. Draw faux stitching with a black fineline pen.
Step 2
Cut a 6cm square of daisy-patterned paper and then 5cm, 4cm and 3cm squares from different patterned papers. Fold each square in half diagonally and open out.
Step 3
Fold the side edges in so that each straight edge lies along the vertical fold line. Repeat to fold the other squares into kite shapes. Draw dashed lines around the edges, as shown.
Step 4
Stamp greeting along the bottom of base card twice. Adhere flaps of kites with foam pads and then attach to base with foam pads. Draw tails and bows with a black fineline pen. Add gems to tails.
Step 5
Attach a 14.5cm square of lilac-patterned paper to a 14.8cm square white base. Add an 8×7.2cm and an 6.3×7.2cm piece of patterned paper in opposite corners. Draw dashed lines with a black fineline pen, as shown.
Step 6
Cut a 5cm square, a 6cm square and a 10cm square of different floral papers. Fold a square along both diagonals and open out. Fold the top point down to the centre and the bottom point up to the top fold line.
Step 7
Hold your nail at centre point; fold bottom edges up one at a time so they meet in the middle. Turn over; fold over tiny triangles at top points. Fold side edges in level with patterned paper fold. Repeat for small hearts.
Step 8
Attach the hearts to the base, as shown, using foam pads to secure the centre folds. Stamp sentiments onto the lilac-patterned panels. Stamp ‘Love’ onto floral paper, cut out, layer and attach. Draw faux stitching and add gems, to finish.
Step 9
Add a 14x6cm piece of pistachio paper and a 14x8cm piece of daisy paper onto a 145mm square white base. Cover the join with a strip of spotty paper. Draw dashed lines with a black fineline pen as shown.
Step 10
Cut a 9cm and a 10cm square of striped paper. Fold the 9cm square along one diagonal and open out. Fold along the other diagonal to create a triangle. Fold in left and right sides, leaving a 1.2cm straight section at top of the dog’s head.
Step 11
Fold a small triangle upwards at the bottom to make the muzzle. Tuck the bottom triangle inside. Draw nose and mouth with a black fineline pen. Draw two small ovals for eyes. Add black gems to create the eyes and nose.
Step 12
Fold larger triangle along the diagonal. Fold bottom corner up to make a tail shape. Open out and invert the fold to create a white tail. Assemble dog with foam pads and attach to the base. Stamp a sentiment onto the base, to finish.
