Anne Egan's little zipped pouch to store your crochet hooks in. It's a great first project for trying out crochet colourwork - we love the bright diamond on the back. This project is worked using Fair Isle crochet, so if this technique is new to you check out our tutorial on how to do crochet colourwork

To make up

Fold with WS tog so that the 2 Cloud end rows are in the centre. Pin the zip in place under these edges, making sure the points of diamond shape line up and zip is visible. The zip will be shorter than crochet edges so make sure it is placed centrally. Sew firmly into place with grey thread. Join the rem crochet edges at each end of the zip with tapestry needle and grey yarn. Unzip and turn inside out. With tapestry needle and pale pink yarn, seam the ends of crochet case, making sure the grey end rows line up with middle of back of hook case.
