Free crochet friendship bracelet patterns
If you're after a quick stash-busting project, then you're in the right place. These fab crochet friendship bracelet patterns only need a small amount of yarn to make them, so it's a great way to use up those bits of fancy left over yarn.
You can also embellish them with beads and buttons to make them extra special, or you could even use some special stitch markers on them to give them that extra bit of bling!

You will need
- Small amount of cotton 4ply yarn
- A 3mm (US C/2 or D/3 hook)
- Small beads or beaded stitch markers

Each crochet bracelet measures approx 22cm (8½in) long

2-strand crochet friendship bracelet pattern
Ch47.
Row 1 (RS) Dc into 2nd ch from hook, (ch3, skip 4 ch, dc into next ch) 6 times.
Fasten off leaving remaining ch unworked.
Rejoin Yarn in first dc of Row 1, ch15.
Fasten off and weave in ends.
Sew a bead onto centre of crochet bracelet.
Wide crochet friendship bracelet pattern
Ch18.
Row 1 (RS) Dc into 2nd ch from hook and next ch, turn leaving rem ch unworked. [2 dc]
Row 2 Ch1 (does not count as st), dc in same st and next st, turn.
Rows 3-28 Repeat Row 2.
Row 29 Ch1 (does not count as st), dc in same st and next st, ch15.
Fasten off and weave in ends.
Sew a bead onto centre of crochet bracelet.
3-strand crochet friendship bracelet pattern
Ch47.
Row 1 (RS) Dc into 2nd ch from hook, (ch4, skip 5 ch, dc into next ch) 5 times, rotate to work down other side of foundation ch, leaving rem ch unworked.
Row 2 Ch1 (does not count as st), dc in same ch as first dc, (ch5, skip ch-4 sp, dc in same ch as dc) 5 times, ch15.
Fasten off and weave in ends.
Add beaded stitch markers to crochet bracelet.
Simple dc and chains crochet friendship bracelet pattern
This easy peasy friendship bracelet crochet pattern by Kirstie McLeod is a brilliant project for beginners to try, and can be made with any leftover dk yarn you have. The crochet friendship bracelet is joined to make a solid loop that doesn't require fastening.
You will need
- Any Dk cotton yarn
- A 4.5mm (US 7) hook
- 3 assorted buttons for each bracelet
Using colours of your choice and a 4.5mm hook, ch31, ss into the first ch to form a ring.
Round 1 Ch1, work 1dc into the next 10 ch, ch21, ss into the first dc. Rep this round 4 more times.
Fasten off .
Sew the buttons to the double crochet section in the centre of the crochet bracelet.
