A knitted collar is a lovely way to bring a fresh look to an old T-shirt or blouse. This sweet little design by Kirstie McLeod has a pretty bird’s eye lace stitch border which will be fun to knit.

Once you’ve finished making your collar, simply stitch it onto a piece of clothing you already own to bring a handmade, personal touch to your outfit. This quick-to-make project has a four-row lace pattern that’s easy to memorise – and even better, it uses just one skein of DK-weight yarn.
