Make this shaker card with your fairy printables
Glitter is a great way to add extra fairy sparkle to these cards - follow the steps to make this fun shaker card:
You will need
- A6 card blanks
- Sticky foam pads
- Double-sided tape
- Scissors or a craft knife
- Cutting mat
- Transparent acetate
- Beads, sequins or glitter
- Sewing machine & thread
Cover a portrait card base with dandelion-patterned paper then layer fairy paper on top, leaving a narrow border. Cut an oval aperture towards the top of the card front.
Cut two pieces of acetate, 7mm bigger than your oval fairy topper and machine stitch together, leaving a small opening. Fill with beads, sequins or glitter then stitch closed.
Tape the glitter pocket inside the card so it sits behind the aperture. Glue an oval topper inside the card so it lines up with the aperture. Add a sentiment to the card front.
