Make this shaker card with your fairy printables

Glitter is a great way to add extra fairy sparkle to these cards - follow the steps to make this fun shaker card:

You will need

  • A6 card blanks
  • Sticky foam pads
  • Double-sided tape
  • Scissors or a craft knife
  • Cutting mat
  • Transparent acetate
  • Beads, sequins or glitter
  • Sewing machine & thread

Step 1

Free fairy printables

Cover a portrait card base with dandelion-patterned paper then layer fairy paper on top, leaving a narrow border. Cut an oval aperture towards the top of the card front.

Step 2

Cut two pieces of acetate, 7mm bigger than your oval fairy topper and machine stitch together, leaving a small opening. Fill with beads, sequins or glitter then stitch closed.

Step 3

Tape the glitter pocket inside the card so it sits behind the aperture. Glue an oval topper inside the card so it lines up with the aperture. Add a sentiment to the card front.
