How often does Simply Knitting come out?

Simply Knitting comes out every four weeks, so there are 13 issues a year.

Where can I buy Simply Knitting?

Simply Knitting is sold in the UK in WHSmith, independent newsagents, and larger branches of Tesco, Morrisons, Sainsbury and Waitrose.  If you can't find a copy in-store you can order single issues from our subscriptions website.

How can I get an old Alan Dart pattern?

Alan has made some of his older designs available to purchase as downloadable PDFs from his website.

Patterns for licensed characters such as Shaun the Sheep or Muffin the Mule will not be available as the characters are owned by other companies, not by Alan or Simply Knitting.

My subscription copy is late, what should I do?

If your subscription copy has not arrived, you can contact our Subscriptions Customer Service team and we'll confirm when your copy was dispatched, check your address is up to date and organise a replacement copy if available. You can manage your address changes and see when your next issue is due in the My Account area of ourmediashop.com.

I don't want to shop online. Can you give me a phone number for a shop?

Where we have telephone numbers for businesses, we print them. However, some small businesses do not accept phone calls, and in those cases we do not print and cannot provide a number.

I’m organising a charity event/workshop/club. How can I get it mentioned in Simply Knitting?

Send us the details at simplyknitting@ourmedia.co.uk, but please be aware that we receive a high volume of requests for coverage and don’t have space in the magazine to feature all of them.

I’m looking for a pattern from a previous issue. Can you help me find it?

For a pattern from the last six months, you can buy a print copy of the magazine here. For older patterns, you can buy a digital version of the magazine. If it’s been more than six months since publication, some designers choose to self-publish their patterns, so do check out their own websites. We also sell some of our patterns on www.ravelry.com.

I found a mistake in one of your patterns. How can I let you know?
