Free Snowman Christmas Tree Decoration

This free crochet snowman ornament pattern is an easy-to-make project that will look fabulous on your tree!

Featuring a cute little snowman in crimson red and mossy green, with pretty scalloped edges and black buttons and eyes, we’re sure you’ll enjoy this Christmas crochet ornament. This free crochet snowman ornament pattern designed by Marianne Rawlins uses colourwork crochet to make the sweet snowman picture, and uses a small amount of toy stuffing to give it a nice squishy thickness, or you could always leave it flat and use it as a cute gift tag!

  • Wensleydale Longwool DK (100% wool, 100g/235m) or alternative dk yarn, 1 ball of each: Yarn A Pomegranate (425), Yarn B Spruce (424), Yarn C Natural (401), Yarn D Brown (424)
  • A 4mm (US G/6) hook
  • Toy stuffing
  • 8 Safety eyes, or if you’re missing these, you could replace them for black beads

Tension is not critical for this project
