Wreaths aren’t just for the festive season! We love this Easter version designed by Sarah Murray, which features eggs, chicks, bunnies and pretty spring foliage. There are lots of pieces to make, some knitted and some crocheted, but they’re all small and portable so you’ll find you make really quick progress. This is a great project for beginners as it provides a practical introduction to the difference between knitting and crochet.

The bright, spring colours are bold and eye-catching, and we think it looks great hung up on a door!

For this project, you'll need to know how to cast on, how to cast off, how to use purl stitch and how to crochet for the leaves and flowers. Fancy giving your eggs some bobble hats? Check out our free egg cosy knitting pattern, or why not have a look through our collection of easy Easter knitting patterns, we're sure there will be something you love!

Short on time? How about making just a couple of the pieces and hang them up separately instead?

If you’ve knitted this project, don’t forget to share it on Facebook or post them on Instagram, we love to see what you make!
