From winter warmers to summer style - we all love a crochet hat! Hat's are a great project for those who've recently got into crochet, as they not only use some essential crochet techniques (such as working in the round), but they're still a project that you can finish relatively quickly. There's an incredible amount of crochet hat patterns available in almost every style conceivable, so we're going to take a look at some of the best crochet hat patterns for babies and kids. It's always worth checking the sizes that a crochet hat pattern is made to, as some will be for a specific size and others will come in a range (we love these ones as you can get years out of a single pattern). It's also worth noting that crochet hat patterns for teenagers generally fall into the same category as adults (although we've included a few here that will suit older kids), and if you're a confident crocheter you can make some adjustments to adult patterns by changing your yarn or hook size to make a slightly smaller hat. If you fancy making an adult hat, you can always check out our pick of the best crochet hat patterns, but keep reading to check out our favourite baby and kids crochet hat patterns!
