Welcome brand new arrivals with Laura Eccleston’s suitably cute teddy bear crochet baby booties. This unisex design will look just as cute on little boys or girls and will keep little toes warm and snuggly. They'd make the sweetest new baby gift for tired mums especially when paired with a handmade card (check out our new baby card ideas). Only small amounts of yarn are used, so they’re a great stashbuster project. Laura teaches you how to crochet these baby booties step by step so it's completely beginner-friendly. If you're new to the world of crochet don't worry! We have a guide to crochet for beginners here on Gathered that will teach you all the tips and tricks you need for these bear booties.
The booties (made in the round) are made first, then the individual eyes, nose, and ears are made and sewn to the booties. If you wanted a more plain design simply miss off the ears and face and add a pom-pom instead (learn how to make a pom pom here on Gathered too)! These baby booties are completely customizable so you can make the perfect pair for the little one in your life.
