You will need
Stylecraft Classique Cotton (100% cotton, 100g/184m) or alternative DK yarn, 1 ball of each:
- Yarn A White (3660)
- Yarn B Azure (3671)
- Yarn C Sunflower (3662)
- Yarn D Tropical Jade (3676)
- Yarn E Lavender (3673)
- Yarn F Hot Pink (3668)
Measurements
One motif measures 12cm (4½in) in diameter.

Crochet Flower Motif
Make as many as you like in your choice of colours. (see below for a handy stitch chart!)
Ch6, ss to join into a ring.
Round 1 (RS) Ch3 (counts as tr), 15tr into ring, ss to top of beg ch-3. [16 tr]
Round 2 Ch5 (count as tr and ch2), 1tr into st at base of ch, *ch1, skip 1 tr, (1tr, ch2, 1tr) into next tr; rep from * 6 more times, ch1, ss to third ch of beg ch-5. [8 groups of (1tr, ch2, 1tr), 8 ch-1 sp]
Round 3 Ss into first ch-2 sp, ch3 (counts as tr), (1tr, ch2, 2tr) into same ch-2 sp, *ch1, (2tr, ch2, 2tr) into next ch-2 sp; rep from * 6 more times, ch1, ss to top of beg ch-3. [8 groups of (2tr, ch2, 2tr), 8 ch-1 sp]
Round 4 Ss into next tr and first ch-2 sp, ch3 (counts as tr), 6tr into same ch-sp, 1dc into next ch-1 sp, (7tr into next ch-2 sp, dc into next ch-1 sp) 7 times, ss to top of beg ch-3.
Fasten off and weave in ends.

String
With Yarn A, make a ch of the desired length, then ss in each st back along the ch.
Fasten off and weave in ends.

Finishing
Thread the motifs onto the string through one of the ch-sps you made on Round 3.
