You Will Need
- Glitter card
- Craft wire
- Tissue paper
- Jute twine
Cut four 10x10cm pieces of tissue paper. Layer the four pieces together then create concertina folds at 1.5cm intervals. Wrap craft wire around the tissue paper and twist the ends.
Round off the ends of the folded tissue paper, for a softer edge on your petals. If you’d prefer a spikier finish, cut the ends into triangular points, instead of rounding them.
Fan out the folded tissue paper, starting from the outside edge, to create the 3D flower. Repeat on the other side. Trim the excess wire and attach the flower to the twine garland.
Our templates make it easy to create tropical leaves for your garland in green and gold glitter card. Use a dab of glue on the stem to attach these along jute twine or rustic string, winding the craft wire of your tissue paper flowers in between for a pleasing garland in any length you desire!Use the tropical templates to create matching party invitations and place cards, too!
