Alison Allen

Alison is a Minneapolis-based blogger with a penchant for a good nickname and a well-made cocktail, who lives with her husband and two sons in a 100-year-old house. She spends summers in her garden and winters renovating, DIY-ing and decorating, and chronicles all of these projects and more on her blog, Deuce Cities Henhouse. It was here we first spotted her colourful macramé lawn chairs (left) – Alison learnt the technique from studying vintage books and adapted it to create her own colourful designs.
