Kirsten has worked as a professional calligrapher for 22 years. Her focus is to share the mindfulness techniques of calligraphy, whilst providing easy-to-follow templates for those just starting out in calligraphy. She credits her teachers including Gerald Fluess, Gaynor Goffe and Ewan Clayton for her appreciation of the history and rules of calligraphy. Kirsten was commissioned to write a guide for the Mail on Sunday in May 2019. She is the author of 5 books on modern calligraphy and she is the consultant for Modern Calligraphy & Lettering Magazine
