Rachael is our tech editor for The Knitter and Simply Knitting magazines, and spends her days wrangling tension, ease and sleeve mathematics. She’s never met a fibre craft she doesn’t like and is a proficient spinner, knitter, crocheter and weaver. Her grandmother taught her to knit when she was six, and she promptly forgot all about it until her daughter was born, when she picked it up again and ran with it. She’s published a couple of knitting patterns, and particularly loves colourwork, and textured stitch patterns. Rachael is also an indie dyer of yarn and fibre when she’s not got her head buried in knitting patterns, and you can often find her at yarn shows and fibre events.
