Quick, easy, practical and long-lasting, this is a project well worth spending an afternoon on. Once you’ve mastered the pattern, you can extend the central band and apply the hook and loop to a number of projects – such as a curtain tie, bracelet, belt or even a gift bow.

To hook up this fantastic pattern, you’ll need:

  • La Mia Cottony (100% cotton, 50g/120m)
  • Fuchsia (P24), Turquoise (P29), Mustard (P31)
  • A 3mm (US C/2 or D/3) hook
  • For yarn stockists contact Hobium Yarns on 09021 245054 or visit www.hobiumyarns.com

You’ll find the full pattern, yarn quantities and measurements for this amazing project in issue 85.
