Our gorgeous seasonal wreaths are the creations of clever designer Kate Eastwood, AKA Just Pootling (her blog is at Kate loved working on our wreaths, saying, “The seasons are, without a doubt, one of my favourite crochet inspirations. Living in Wiltshire, I am lucky enough to be surrounded by the most beautiful countryside as far as the eye can see, and there will never be a day when I don’t revel in the seasonal changes around me. To be able to combine this love with my crochet by bringing the outside in with wreaths, garlands and decorations for the home brings me enormous pleasure.”

Kate chose Rico Creative Ricorumi DK for the wreaths. “When making anything small and detailed, I find cotton is the perfect go-to yarn as it gives such good, clear definition to your work,” she says. “To top it all, there are 60 wonderful colours to choose from!”

The wreath collection was originally published in issue 78 of Simply Crochet magazine as part of our 2019 calendar, but if you missed out you can now buy the individual patterns or the whole collection from Ravelry here!

Simply Crochet issue 78 is also available as a digital edition, for Apple phones and tablets, Android phones and tablets, the Barnes & Noble Nook, and to read through Zinio as PDFs. Click here to find the right version for you.
