When was my last issue posted out?

*IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR OVERSEAS SUBSCRIBERS*

Just before Christmas, the postal provider for our overseas copies informed us that the closure and tightening of UK borders, that would result in significant delays to the delivery of our magazines. All overseas subscribers were emailed on 22/12/2020 with a service update message. If you have not supplied an email address in your subscription details you can contact us if you have queries. Although the situation at UK borders has eased, the backlog of post will mean copies will still take longer to make it to you. Many thanks for your patience at this challenging time.  A guide to suggested delivery expectations is below, although countries and regions may vary. 

  • Love Embroidery – Issue 8 all mailed by 10/12. UK copies expected to take 7-10 days to arrive in current circumstances. OS copies are airfreighted and estimated average transit times are 14-21 days.
  • Love Patchwork & Quilting – Issue 93 consigned to mail 11/12.  UK copies expected to take 7-10 days to arrive in current circumstances. OS copies are now sea freighted due current low airmail capacities and estimated average transit times are 35-41 days from mailing date.
  • Mollie Makes – Issue 125 mailed 22/12. UK copies expected to take 7-10 days to arrive in current circumstances. For our US subscribers we ship copies in bulk to mail via USPS. Issue 124 mailed on 08/01  and will take up to 14 days to arrive in the US, although USPS delays are being reported in some areas. Remaining OS copies for EUR/Rest of World are airfreighted and estimated average transit times are 14-21 days from 04/01 when OS copies were mailed.
  • Simply Crochet – Issue 106 mailed on 12/01 and will arrive with subscribers over the next 7-10 days in current circumstances. OS copies are sea freighted due to current low airmail capacities and estimated average transit times are 35-41 days.
  • Simply Knitting – Issue 207 mailed 22/12. UK copies expected to take 7-10 days to arrive in current circumstances. OS copies are now sea freighted due to current low airmail capacities and estimated average transit times are 35-41 days from 04/01 when OS copies were mailed.
  • Simply Sewing – Issue 77 mailed on 14/12. UK copies expected to take 7-10 days to arrive in current circumstances. OS copies are now sea freighted due to current low airmail capacities and estimated average transit times are 35-41 days. You will still receive an issue every 4 weeks.
  • The Knitter – Issue 158 mailed 04/12. UK copies expected to take 7-10 days to arrive in current circumstances. OS copies are now sea freighted due to current low airmail capacities and estimated average transit times are 35-41 days. You will still receive an issue every 4 weeks.
  • Today’s Quilter – Issue 70 mailed 22/12. UK copies expected to take 7-10 days to arrive in current circumstances. For our US subscribers we ship copies in bulk to mail via USPS. Issue 68 mailed on the 02/12 and will take 14 days to arrive in the US. Remaining OS copies for EUR/Rest of World are airfreighted and estimated average transit times are 14-21 days from OS mailing date of 04/01.
  • World of Cross Stitching – Issue 303 mailed 22/12. UK copies expected to take 7-10 days to arrive in current circumstances. For our US subscribers we ship copies in bulk to mail via USPS. Issue 301 mailed 03/12 and will take 14 days to arrive in the US. Remaining OS copies for EUR/Rest of World are airfreighted and estimated average transit times are 14-21 days from the mailing date of 04/01.

Why is my latest issue missing/delayed?

If your expected issue has not arrived you can contact us and we’ll check your address is up to date and organise a replacement copy if available. Please select ‘I am missing an issue’ in the Query Type box. Please also select magazine and advise us the issue number you are missing, so we can handle your request quickly.

Please note that UK replacement copies are not sent until 10 days after the mailing date to ensure your magazine has time to arrive during these exceptional times where we are still experiencing localised postage delays.

How do I change my address?

You can manage your address details and see when your next issue is due to be sent out in the “My Account” area of www.buysubscriptions.com (our subscriptions website).

My magazine and/or cover gift has arrived damaged – how do I get a replacement?

If your magazine and/or the cover gift with your subscriber copy has arrived damaged, contact us to organise a replacement copy if available.

Will my subscription be affected by the Coronavirus pandemic?

We are working closely with our suppliers to make sure that business continues as usual. However, in the event of significant disruption, we will communicate with you via email and messages on buysubscriptions.com. If we are unable to deliver your magazine to you we will extend your subscription free of charge, so you don’t lose out.

So we can keep you up to date on any changes that may affect you, please update your email address on our contact us page here if you think that your contact details are incorrect.

The safety of our customers is our primary concern and Public Health England has advised that there is no perceived increase in risk of contracting coronavirus (COVID-19) from handling post. We are pleased that our postal suppliers are putting in place measures to protect staff and customers including providing employees with disposable gloves if they would like to use them and an increased emphasis on good hand hygiene.

How can I subscribe to one of your magazines?

How do I buy a recent issue of one of your magazines?

We keep stock of the last 6 months of back issues but these are subject to availability and stocks often sell out. Please click here to check which issues are currently available.

When I subscribed, I was supposed to get a welcome gift. Where is it?

If the subscription offer you selected includes an “Added Extra” we will send it to the address of the person paying for the subscription. Our Added Extras are sent separately from the magazine and will arrive within 28 working days of your payment being processed. At the moment Added Extra items are only available for delivery within the UK.

Where can I find my subscription number?

You can find your subscription number on your subscription welcome letter or email and above your address on your delivered magazine. The number is ten digits long and begins with the number ‘4’.

If you do not have this information to hand you can contact us to confirm your subscription number. Please provide your name, address, and magazine subscription to help us identify your account.

How do I renew my subscription?

If you have received a subscription renewal notification via post or email, or just want to extend your current subscription, you can do so easily on www.buysubscriptions.com.

There are two ways to renew – you can log in to your account and follow the simple steps, or click the ‘Renew Your Subscription’ link at the top of the page. If following the link at the top of the page, you will need your subscription number to hand.

If you are the recipient of a gift subscription, you can take over the subscription by renewing through either method mentioned above.

Direct debit subscriptions renew automatically. If you have previously cancelled a direct debit subscription and wish to reactivate your subscription you can follow the instructions above.

When is my next Direct Debit payment due to be taken?

If you subscribe via direct debit payment you can find your payment date schedule on your subscription welcome letter or email. You can also log in to your account to see your next payment date and value.

When does my subscription end?

We will send you a renewal notification via post or email to remind you when your subscription is due to end. If you pay by Direct Debit your subscription will automatically continue to renew until we receive instruction from you to cancel.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You may cancel your subscription at any time. To do this, please contact us. If you are a direct debit subscriber we recommend instructing your bank to cancel future payments too.

If you do not wish to receive the remaining issues of your subscription contract we can refund you for any un-mailed issues if you notify us when cancelling. I submitted a query on the Contact us form but have not heard back yet

If you are waiting for a reply from the Customer Services team please check the following:

  • Are you checking the correct email account which you used to submit your query?
  • Have you checked your Junk folder to see if replies are in there?

We aim to reply to all queries within 72 hours, so please check your email account (including Junk Folder) after 72 hours. We are currently experiencing a much higher level of queries than usual but all queries are logged and are tracked through to reply.

Who do I contact  about my subscription?

Please submit queries through www.buysubscriptions.com/contactus and not by direct emails. The Gathered editorial teams and magazine editorial teams are unable to access customer information (in order to be compliant with Data Protection regulation). Contacting the Customer Services team on the above link will enable your query to be resolved quicker.

We aim to reply to all queries within 72 hours, so please check your email account (including Junk Folder) after 72 hours. We are experiencing a much higher level of queries than usual but all queries are logged and tracked through to reply.

I’m going on holiday – can I pause my subscription?

If you have a long holiday planned and would like to temporarily suspend your subscription please contact us and we will arrange this for you. Please let us know in good time and provide your stop and restart dates.

Can I change my print subscription to a digital subscription?

In most cases you can transfer your print subscription to a digital subscription with buysubscriptions.com. To organise a transfer, please contact us and provide your subscription number.
