Step 1

Using the template, trace the carrot gift bag onto orange card, cut out and score where indicated. Apply glue to the end tab, fold along the scored lines and assemble to form a carrot-shaped bag, as shown.

Step 2

Attach ricrac to the top edge of the bag. Add green leaves toppers or die cuts along the top edge of the bag, as shown, securing the ends of the leaves to the inside of the bag.

Step 3

Cut a 2x25cm piece of orange card and attach green ricrac along the centre. Attach each end of the strip to adjacent sides of the bag to form the handle, as shown. Leave to fully dry before filling with treats.

Woven paper basket

Step 1

Cut eight 1.5x19cm strips of green card. Place four strips in a vertical row then take another strip and weave it horizontally over and under the other strips. Repeat with the three strips, alternating the weaves. Secure the middle strips.

Step 2

Fold each of the strips upwards to form the sides of the basket. Cut three 1.5x29cm pieces of pink card. Take one of the strips and weave it over and under one side of the basket. Add glue to secure the pink strip to the green strips. Repeat with the other pieces of card, alternating the weaving as you go. Fold the ends of the green strips over the top pink strip on the basket edges and secure with glue.

Step 3

Attach a 28×0.5cm piece of green card to a 28x1cm piece of pink card. Attach either end of the layered strip to the sides of the basket to form the handle. Tie an organza ribbon bow around the handle.

Step 1

Cut a 5x29cm piece of orange card and add scalloped edges to the longer sides. Cut two 1.5x12cm pieces of green card and one 1.5×13.5cm piece of light green card. Fold these strips in half. Fold the orange strip in half and place the green strips on the fold line, securing with a staple. Secure the ends of the orange strip together, as shown.

Step 2

Cut a 2.9x29cm piece of grey card and a 1.5x21cm piece of pink card for the body. Cut two 1.4×14.5cm pieces of grey card and two smaller pieces of pink card for the ears. Place the pink strips inside the grey pieces and bend so the ends meet. Fold the grey body strip in half and place the ear pieces on the fold line. Secure with a staple.
