Is Craftpod good value for money?

Really good value based on the amount of kit in the box and the multiple projects. The wooden hoop and quality of the threads and add-on make this a worthy purchase.

Craftpod: What’s in the box

Wooden hoop, calico, felt and interfacing, 6 full skeins of DMC embroidery thread, needles, felt, embroidery scissors, wooden pegs, die-cut cardboard shapes, templates, instructions. Extras needed include a pencil and iron.

Are the projects supplies of good quality?

Much more thread is supplied than you need so you can add that to your stash. The scissors are lovely, sharp, and look nice. The hoop is really good quality and eco-friendly. Instructions are printed on good quality cards but some of the terminologies assume a little prior knowledge – but that’s easily Googled.

The box is letterbox sized so it doesn’t matter if you’re out!

Are the boxes available nationwide in the UK?

How much packaging is there?

All packaging is recyclable and the box is sturdy and could easily be reused.

How easy are the projects to make?

Easy to make with a little patience and a few terms Googled. Good for beginners to intermediate embroiderers.

Are the instructions clear?

Instructions are clear, easy to follow and any slightly trickier steps are clearly spelt out.

What are the finished projects like?

The finished projects are lovely and look better than I would have thought with limited skill.

What other craft stash did you need to make the project?

Just a pencil and an iron are needed to complete the kits.

Who would these subs boxes be most useful for?

Great for anyone looking for embroidery inspiration, multiple projects from quick makes to an afternoon of mindful craft.

What’s your favourite thing about this product?
