What do I need to apply for Sewing Bee?
There’s a few things you’ll need to have ready before you apply for the Sewing Bee. The first is a few paragraphs which explain your passion for sewing. Programme Love Productions are looking for applicants with “skill, enthusiasm, drive and love of sewing. We are looking for lively characters that are comfortable being filmed.” Let this come across in your application as well as some practical points about your sewing ability like:
- How long have you been sewing?
- What sewing projects are your favourites?
- What are your sewing strong points?
- What are your sewing weak spots?
Next, you’ll need at least five close up images of your best creations. Make sure your pictures are well lit, close up and high quality. You want to show your work in the best possible light.
Finally, you’ll need a recent photograph of yourself. There’s also the opportunity to upload a one minute video of yourself to show the producers just how amazing you really are.
How to apply
When you’ve got all of the above, apply for Sewing Bee at: www.applyforsewingbee.co.uk. Applications close 23.59pm on Sunday June 7th 2020. Good luck!
