Craft a cake as sweet as pie with this giant cupcake-shaped card from issue 168 of Papercraft inspirations. To create the cupcake case-effect base, simply concertina fold a piece of textured or patterned card and attach to the base – this will create the 3D effect of the base.
You can decorate your chosen cupcake to suit your recipients’ taste, from a sugary sweet make to a cute chocolate design. Match your patterned or coloured card and paper to the cupcake flavour, then add a cute sentiment to the centre of the cake. Our designer has added two stamped sentiments and a ribbon and twine bow, but you can add any embellishment to your own cupcake.
