How to make an Easter tree

How to make an Easter tree

Step 1

To make your DIY Easter tree, transfer two tree shapes onto yellow mount board using the template and cut out. On one Easter tree, mark the dotted line, as indicated on the template, and on the other Easter tree mark the solid line. Cut a slit down each line, and then slot the two shapes together to create a three-dimensional Easter tree.

Step 2

Trace the two Easter egg templates onto some scrap card and cut them out. Draw around the larger egg onto patterned paper three times. Cut out and fold each egg shape in half lengthways. Attach the three shapes together, trapping a loop of twine between them to create a three-dimensional hanging egg. Repeat with the smaller egg shape.

Step 3

Continue to create lots of hanging Easter egg decorations in different sizes using various patterned papers. Hang the eggs onto the branches of your DIY Easter tree with the twine loop.
